Five for Friday! #proudteacher

I am linking up with Doodle Bugs Teaching …Five for Friday!

This week we have been working on our Folktales, Fables, and Fairy Tales UNIT!!!!!!  Clearly I am super excited!  With this unit we are working on theme…
 - dun - dun - duuuuunnnn -

I am obsessed with my students and all their handwork.  We started reading fables to find the theme… and I found the best resource on TpT… well really on instagram first!  #obsessed  You can find it… here and it's by Hippo Hooray for Second Grade!

Check out their work…

Who doesn't love a little spice in their math rotations?!?! We had some fun with our math centers.  I made mini task cards to put in Easter eggs as a center!  They had soooooo much fun and were totally engaged!

You can get the task cards free at my TpT store.

In writing, we finished up our poem unit, with some little help from Amy Lemons!  If we are being honest… I don't love poetry… but my students did a great job with writing their own poems!  (I like it a little bit more NOW) :)

Well… apparently my students LOVED poetry because at the end of the day … they made this sweet poem!

I started making some Brag Tags for a friend, who was starting her MCAS testing (Mass state testing) and I thought her students could use a little something after their test. So... then I made a couple more for my class… to see how my students responded as a reward…which was a success...  and well I think that I am pretty funny #atleastIownit

But seriously… they AMUSE me!

If you like them… you can get them … here!!

My students left with this today … #myfavoritelittlepeeps
Thanks for stopping by!
